Recently retired from ski racing, Rose is moving out of the gates and into the world of big mountain skiing. A student at Dartmouth College and studying Biomedical Engineering, Rose is taking the taking the winter term off and is returning home in Utah to pursuit her freeskiing dreams.

How long have you been skiing?
Answer -
I started skiing when my dad wouldn't let me ride in his backpack anymore.
Question -
What are three things you can not live with out?
Answer -
Coffee, family, snow
Question -
If you were not a pro Skier what would you be?
Answer -
Well, I am still trying to be a student!
Question -
What is the coolest thing you've done on the snow?
Answer -
There have definitely been a few highlights from my ski racing career and ripping around Little Cottonwood as a kid that stand out. But, my proudest moments are all representative of skiing something that previously intimidated me and shredding it. I think that epitomizes cool.
Question -
Who is your biggest influence in your life?
Answer -
My big brother, Marcus Caston. He was the main reason why I started skiing, and I couldn't have asked for a better skier to chase around and learn from.
Question -
How do you stay in shape during the off season?
Answer -
I love mountain biking, soccer, and I actually just started playing ultimate frisbee with a team in New Hampshire.
Question -
Favorite Food Item?
Answer -
I will avoid saying coffee again and will go with ice cream cake.
